Downloading and Installation
How do I download the software?
Downloading the software is very easy. Just click on the "Download Now" button on any page. If you experience any difficulties when downloading, simply write to us by clicking here, let us know what specific problem you're having, and we'll help.
I downloaded the software and now I can't find it.
If you downloaded the file (partypokersetup.exe) but forgot where you saved it, don't worry. Just go to Start-->Find-->File or Folders and type in partypokersetup.exe in the Named: box. Once found, just double click and join our party.
I installed but I can't hear any sounds.
Enabling sounds for your games is really easy simply follow these steps:
- a) Login using your Poker account.
- b) In the Poker Lobby, please select the "Options" menu.
- c) Click on the "Sounds" option and make sure that it is checked.
I installed the software. Now where do I go to start playing?
Once you have downloaded the software, all you need to do when you wish to play is to look for our icon, which is a bright orange poker chip on your desktop. Or you may click on the "Start" button of on the bottom left of your screen and then search for PartyPoker in the first menu that opens up. You should find "PartyPoker" in the upper half of the menu. Just click on it, click on PartyPoker and you can start playing.
Do I need to go to www.2002poker.com each time I want to play?
No you don't, you will just have to click on the Poker icon on the desktop (the bright orange poker chip) and it will automatically bring you to the site and you can start playing.

What do I do to begin playing?
Three simple things: 1) Download our free software. 2) Select a Game by clicking the appropriate tab, choose a table, and click Join Table. 3) Then take a seat and a registration form will appear on your screen. Just fill it out and you're all set. You'll literally be playing within minutes.
ow do I select the game I want to play?
When you're in the Lobby, at the top of the chart, you'll see Live Games and Poker Million. To play anything on the lower set of game tabs, click Live Games or Poker Million first and then the appropriate game tab. Select the table you are interested in playing at and double click it (or click Join Table at the below the chart). The table will appear on your screen and take a seat anywhere there is a Seat Open.
What if the table I want to play at is full?
Click the Waiting List button for that table and you will automatically be added to the waiting list for it. In the lobby, on the right of your screen, you will notice a list of players currently playing at and waiting for a particular table. When you click on wait, your name will be added to the bottom of the waiting list. As seats become available, your name moves up till you are at the top of the list. When your seat becomes available, you will automatically be notified.
What if there are no players at the table I wish to play at?
In this case, just click on the waiting list for the empty table you would like to play at. Select the minimum number of players you wish to play against. When a new game is ready to start, with your selected number of players ready to go, you will automatically be notified.
Will I know how much is in the pot at all times?
Yes. This amount is posted in the center of the pot. In addition, the chips in the center of the pot equal the exact size of the pot.
I've never played poker before but would like to join. How do I start?
We welcome new players. For a quick lesson on how to play the games we offer, just click on Game Rules. Once there, you can click on any game or games you wish to learn about. The first thing you must do is learn which poker hand beats another hand. Click Rank of Hands for this information. Sometimes during play, the connection seems to get interrupted or the game starts to go really slow. Why is this?
The communication between your machine and our servers has been optimized for the fastest response. However, if you feel that your game is going slow, most likely one of two things could be happening:
- 1) The players on the table are taking a long time to make their move(s). 2) Your connection to the Internet may be bad.
- Customer satisfaction is of primary importance to us. We will do everything possible to help you. Contact us and we will definitely look into the matter.
What happens if I get disconnected from a table in the middle of a hand?
If this happens, our software will try to automatically re-connect you to the Internet and return you right back to your table. Hopefully, you'll get back in time to resume play as if nothing had happened. Click Here to see about our Disconnection Policy.

Is there a credit card processing fee when I buy my chips?

How do I add funds to my account?
To add funds to and account, a customer can either click on the "Cashier" button in the Lobby, or click on the dealer in any table and then on "Add Funds To Account". The next step is to select either Credit Card/FirePay payments, or Other Payment Options.
Why is my credit card being declined?
There are several reasons why a credit card can be declined. First you would need to check that the expiration date and all biographical information provided is correct and matches the information registered with the credit card company, second you will need to verify with your bank that there is sufficient funds in the account and finally you will need to confirm that your bank accepts gaming transactions.
Can I mail you a bank draft, money order, or cashier's check to purchase chips?
Sure you can!
What are the cash out policies?
Our cash out policy is to refund all credit card and FirePay purchases before any other method is employed up to the initial amount purchased. The balance of the funds will be sent through Paypal or check. All cash outs over $2,500.00, must be sent via Bank Wire.
How long does it take to process my cash out?
Credit Card Refunds: 3 to 5 business days processing and an additional 2 to 3 for credits to appear.
- FirePay Refunds: 3 to 5 business days processing and an additional 2 to 3 for credits to appear.
- PayPal Refunds: 48 to 72 hours.
- Checks: 3 to 4 days processing (up to 3 weeks for you to receive the funds).

I don't have a PayPal account; can I still get my money?
It is very easy to open a PayPal account and you will receive your money very quickly by going to www.paypal.com (remember to use the same email you registered at PartyPoker.com.) However, if you encounter difficulties opening a Paypal account or just prefer your funds to be sent via check please contact us.
Can I receive my winnings via courier check?
Yes, we offer courier via FedEx. Customers must notify us in advance and they must cover the fee (The fee will vary depending on the country). Please note that if a customer in countries where we send PayPal refunds requests a courier check, then the $10.00 fee will also be charged.
Can I return part (or all) of my cash out back to my Poker account?
Yes, we can return part (or all) of your cash out to your Poker account. Please contact us.
Money Games Questions:
If I want to leave the game for a little while but not quit the game, can I do this? What happens to my money?
Yes. Simply click the Deal me Out option on your screen. Don't worry about your money. We will take care of it. Out of consideration for the other players, however, please get back to the game as quickly as possible.
What happens to my money if I leave the game or get disconnected in the middle of a hand and don't make it back in time for my next turn?
